ITSO - What next?
The next few years are going to be a
very interesting and challenging period if you or your organisation use, or are
planning to use, smartcards in transport-related applications. The reason is ITSO.
ITSO is a member-controlled organisation that has been set up to develop and
maintain a specification (on behalf of the DfT) that will enable interoperable
ticketing using smartcards. This is seen by many to be an essential
pre-requisite to the “seamless journey”.
PJ Associates (PJA) are running a series of 1-day seminars that will provide
answers. The seminar will also answer questions such as:
-
ITSO - what is it all about?
-
How will ITSO affect my organisation?
-
Is it really going to be “simple, easy, quick and hassle free”?
The seminar will be dedicated to your organisation, will take place at your
offices, and you may send up to 6 delegates. The seminar will take an
interactive format, with 2 PJA Directors leading the day.
